Sr. Manager / AVP – Business Development & Sales

📍 Location: Thane, Mumbai

💰 Budget: ₹20-25 LPA (Based on previous experience)

🎓 Education: B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical / Production / Automobile); MBA is an advantage

Job Responsibilities:

🔹 Sales – Existing OEMs:

  • Maximize business growth through monthly schedule management
  • Participate in Global RFQ processes for optimal business share
  • Oversee costing strategies and effective handling
  • Conduct monthly reviews to analyze schedule changes
  • Expand OEM portfolio by adding applications like foundation and nacelle
  • Efficient CRM Management for deal tracking and meeting organization

🔹 Business Development – New OEMs:

  • Identify new OEMs and establish connections via network, LinkedIn, or relationships
  • Scope business opportunities and arrange client meetings
  • Process RFQs and formulate business cases with clients
  • Manage cost negotiations and follow-ups to secure business deals
  • Execute qualification processes post-commercial agreements

🔹 BD – Market Research & Branding:

  • Research wind OEMs globally and connect via clients, social networks, or exhibitions
  • Oversee exhibition participation in India, EU, and North America (stall design, execution)
  • Identify new wind energy conferences for brand visibility

🔹 New Product Development (NPD):

  • Identify and introduce new products for existing clients via manufacturing or service solutions

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

📈 Sales: Achieve yearly revenue targets by optimizing OEM business and development 📊 Business Development: Secure next 2 FY sales as per target strategies 🆕 NPD: Identify 2-3 new products to enhance portfolio

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Minimum 5 years of experience in Wind Energy with a solid Sales & BD track recordInternational travel exposure (preferably to Europe) for sales & BD ✔ Experience in the Fastener Manufacturing Industry (preferred) ✔ Prior work experience in large, professional, multinational companies

Total Experience:

📌 Minimum 8 years in Sales & Business Development

Preferred Industry Segment:

Industrial OEMs / Wind Energy / Manufacturing (Fasteners, Bearings, Machined Components)
