Senior Sales Engineer – Hyderabad

 

We are hiring for a leading manufacturer of Lightning Protection Systems, Earthing Solutions, Surge Protection
Devices, and Aviation Lights. With a global presence in over 80 countries and more
than 10 years of operation in India, we provide comprehensive solutions to clients
across various sectors, including Airports, Seaports, Infrastructure Projects,
Petrochemical Industries, Steel Industries, Automotive Plants, IT Parks, Government
Buildings, Residential and Commercial offices, and Heritage Sites. We also serve the
Solar and Renewable Energy sectors with specialized lightning protection and
earthing solutions, covering both supply and installation.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development:
o Identify and prospect target accounts to generate new business
opportunities while maintaining and growing existing accounts within
Northern India market.
o Work with Electrical Consultants, MEP & EPC Electrical Contractors, and
Builder Offices to understand project requirements, define technical
specifications, and participate in tendering, bid preparation, and order
booking.
o Support clients throughout the sales cycle, including installation
support and post-sales services.
o Responsible for payment collection and account management for both
direct and distribution accounts.

Client and Stakeholder Management:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry players,
including Electrical Consultants and Contractors.
o Manage and develop an existing customer base while actively seeking to
acquire new customers.
o Secure consultant approvals and ensure a high level of customer
satisfaction and repeat business.
o Increase market share in the Lightning Protection & Earthing Solutions
segment within the region.

• Team Collaboration:
o Work alongside supporting team members from New Delhi Office and
Head Office, managing and coordinating their sales cycles, including
enquiry prospection, quotation preparation, technical and commercial
negotiations, order processing, shipment, and payment recovery.
o Support the team in achieving their sales and collection targets.
• Market Knowledge & Travel:
o Extensive travel across the Delhi & surround NCR as per project needs is
required.
o Maintain a deep understanding of the local market, industry trends, and
competitive landscape.

  • Skills and Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience in handling business-to-business (B2B) sales, with a
focus on managing a defined sales territory.
• Proven ability to manage and guide downline sales teams.
• Strong network and contacts with Electrical Consultants and Contractors in
the region are mandatory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build
rapport and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams to
achieve business objectives.
• Must be willing and able to travel extensively.
