About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Account Manager with a strong background in logistics and freight forwarding accounting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and end-to-end accounting processes. Experience in team management and handling accounting for EXIM, CHA, and logistics operations is a must.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting team
✅ Handle GST filing, reconciliation, and compliance
✅ Responsible for TDS deductions, returns, and compliance
✅ Oversee Income Tax matters including audits and return filings
✅ Perform end-to-end accounting, including finalization of accounts
✅ Lead and mentor a team of accountants
✅ Maintain accurate books for freight forwarding, CHA, and EXIM activities
✅ Reconcile accounts with shipping lines, transporters, and CHA agents
✅ Ensure compliance with logistics-specific accounting norms and government regulations

Key Requirements

🔹 Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
🔹 Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics/freight forwarding/EXIM industry
🔹 Excellent knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax laws
🔹 Proficient in accounting software (Tally, ERP, etc.)
🔹 Strong leadership and team handling skills
🔹 Good communication and coordination ability with internal and external stakeholders
