Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced AGM / Sr. AGM – Business Finance to drive the business finance function for the Cable business. The role involves business partnering, financial analysis, reporting, process improvements, budgeting, forecasting, and governance. The candidate will play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making and improving financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnering

• Act as a trusted finance partner to key business stakeholders
• Support cost optimization, profitability improvement, and value creation
• Align accounting, reporting, and finance strategy with business goals

Process Improvement & Controls

• Drive period-end closure and financial reporting improvements
• Implement maker-checker processes and internal controls
• Develop and monitor risk assessment and governance frameworks
• Ensure compliance with policies, SOPs, and insurance requirements

Data Analytics & Reporting

• Prepare MIS, dashboards, and performance reports using Power BI
• Conduct trend analysis, margin analysis, and financial insights
• Automate reporting processes for accuracy and timeliness

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Prepare and manage budgets and forecasts
• Perform variance analysis and cost control initiatives
• Work closely with Business Head and Finance Head

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Lead and coordinate with cross-functional teams
• Mentor and guide teams for performance excellence
• Support business leadership with strategic finance insights

Finance & Accounts, Sales & Marketing, Inside Sales, Operations, Costing & MIS, Analytics, IT, Logistics

Required Skills & Expertise

• CA with strong business finance exposure
• Advanced Excel, Power BI, SQL, MS PowerPoint
• Hands-on experience with SAP (FICO, MM, SD, PP)
• Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards & IFRS
• Data-driven decision-making and analytical mindset
