About the Role
We are hiring a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead financial strategy and governance for a fast-growing engineering and automation solutions company. This role is ideal for a seasoned finance leader with experience in electrical contracting, industrial automation, engineering, or related industries.
As CFO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping financial decisions, driving compliance, and supporting large-scale projects in a dynamic and evolving business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial strategy, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modelling.
- Drive FP&A, management reporting, and variance analysis to deliver actionable business insights.
- Oversee finance operations including accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, and audits.
- Partner with operations on project-level feasibility, profitability, and cost control.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, treasury, and banking relationships.
- Champion ERP and financial technology adoption for automation and real-time reporting.
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing finance team.
- Ensure timely compliance, accurate reporting, and governance excellence.
Required Profile
- CA Inter qualified professional.
- 15+ years of progressive finance experience, including leadership roles.
- Strong background in strategic and operational finance within engineering-related industries.
- Hands-on expertise in FP&A, taxation, project finance, ERP, and BI tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills (C-level, auditors, bankers).
- Ethical, detail-oriented, and strategic thinker.
