We are hiring a Plant Quality Control (QC) Manager to lead quality assurance initiatives for our manufacturing plant. If you have strong experience in CAPEX projects, mechanical inspections, and long-cycle manufacturing, this role is for you!
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
Lead the QC function for both standard and CAPEX machine manufacturing projects.
Develop and implement quality control standards aligned with industry certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
Manage incoming, in-process, and final inspections for components and complete machines.
Oversee calibration and preventive maintenance of quality tools (e.g., CMMs, gauges).
Work closely with Engineering & Production on first article inspections, design reviews, and process validations.
Drive CAPA (Corrective & Preventive Action) and root cause analysis for internal and customer issues.
Generate quality dashboards, reports, and trend analyses to support continuous improvement.
Support supplier quality development for critical machine parts and assemblies.
Conduct training for QC and shop floor teams on quality standards and procedures.
Contribute to CAPEX planning by defining quality requirements for new installations and production lines.
Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and industry regulations.
✅ Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
Experience: 8–10 years in quality control for machine or heavy equipment manufacturing, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
Strong exposure to CAPEX environments and long-cycle production processes.
Proficiency in mechanical drawings, GD&T, and BOMs.
Hands-on with SPC, FMEA, 8D, PPAP, APQP, etc.
Skilled in inspection tools: CMM, micrometers, calipers, surface testers.
Familiar with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and QMS platforms.
Strong communication, team leadership, and organizational abilities.
